PROCTER & GAMBLE’S more memorable cause-marketing programs include dispatching a Tide-branded mobile laundromat, a Duracell mobile charging trailer and free-battery distribution center, and Charmin mobile restrooms to areas devastated by hurricanes and wildfires.

Now, High Ridge Brands, which makes soap and hair care brands including Zest, Coast, Alberto VO5 and White Rain, is introducing a cause-marketing effort for Americans who have been hit not by the weather, but rather by the economic climate.
